Janet de Moor


Janet S. de Moor, PhD, MPH is a Behavioral Scientist in the Healthcare Assessment Research Branch (HARB) of the Healthcare Delivery Research Program. She previously worked in the Office of Cancer Survivorship, where she served as a Program Director since 2011. Prior to joining the NCI, Dr. de Moor was an Assistant Professor at The Ohio State University College of Public Health, Division of Health Behavior and Health Promotion. She received her undergraduate degree in Human Development and Family Studies from Penn State University and her Master of Public Health degree and Doctorate in Behavioral Science from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston School of Public Health. She completed her postdoctoral fellowship at Harvard School of Public Health. Dr. de Moor's research and programmatic interests include the economic burden of cancer with an emphasis on the impact of cancer on employment, cancer survivorship and the economic evaluation of cancer survivorship interventions, and adherence to cancer treatment and follow up care recommendations.
