Dr. Verhoeven will discuss a mixed-methods study describing clinical care team composition and care coordination challenges for cancer survivors with another chronic condition. She will also discuss how these challenges contribute to health disparities.
The NIMHD William G. Coleman, Jr., PhD, Minority Health and Health Disparities Research Innovation Award is a competitive program supporting the development of post-doctoral fellows, staff scientists, and staff clinicians within the NIMHD Intramural Research Program, with potential for high impact in minority health and health disparities research.
