Methodological Considerations for SEER-CAHPS
Purpose
This webinar provides a brief overview of the SEER-CAHPS data resource, which is a linkage between the NCI’s Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results (SEER) Program cancer registry data, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services’ (CMS) Medicare Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (Medicare CAHPS) patient experience surveys, and Medicare claims. The presenters describe methodological considerations and applications of each data source to guide researchers interested in using SEER-CAHPS to examine cancer patients’ experiences of care.
Intended Audience
This webinar is intended for all researchers interested in using the SEER-CAHPS data resource. No experience with SEER-CAHPS is necessary.
