The Healthcare Delivery Research Program (HDRP) supports the development and maintenance of a variety of data and tools that are available for research use. These resources can be used to address research questions at various points across the cancer control continuum.

SEER-Linked Data

SEER-Medicaid Linked Data Resource

Provides population-based data that gives information about Medicaid beneficiaries with cancer.

SEER-Medicare Linked Data Resource

Provides population-based data for an array of epidemiological and health services research questions.

SEER–Medicare Health Outcomes Survey (SEER-MHOS)

Designed to improve understanding of the health-related quality of life of cancer patients and survivors enrolled in Medicare Advantage Organizations.

SEER-Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (SEER-CAHPS)

Provides data on Medicare beneficiaries' experiences with their care at various stages of the cancer care continuum.

Medical Expenditure Panel Survey: Experiences with Cancer Survivorship Supplement (MEPS)

Nationally representative survey that collects comprehensive data on health care utilization and expenditures.

National Health Interview Survey Cancer Control Supplement (NHIS CCS)

Nationally representative survey used to assess knowledge, attitudes, and practices in cancer-related health behaviors, screening, and risk assessment.

Physician Surveys

Designed to assess physicians' use of screening modalities, therapies, new technologies, and other factors that may influence the cancer burden nationally.

HealthMeasures

Provides an integrated platform to assess health outcomes via self-report or performance measures.

Patient-Reported Outcomes version of the Common Terminology Criteria for Adverse Events (PRO-CTCAE®)

Used in clinical trials as a companion to the CTCAE to capture symptomatic treatment side effects from the patient perspective.

Patterns of Care Studies

Collected under a Congressional Mandate to evaluate the dissemination of state-of-the-art cancer therapy into community practice.

Interagency Consortium to Promote Health Economics Research on Cancer (HEROiC)

Aims at reducing the economic burden of cancer and cost-related barriers to care for cancer survivors in the United States.

HPV Vaccine Uptake

Brings together NCI cancer centers, CDC programs, state/local health departments, and immunization programs to increase HPV vaccination uptake.

Adolescent & Young Adult Health Outcomes & Patient Experience Study (AYA HOPE)

Addresses the impact of cancer, health-related quality of life, healthcare delivery practice patterns, decisions about clinical trial involvement, demographic, socioeconomic, and supportive care characteristics.

Research Resources

ACCSIS DataShare

Allows individuals who are not part of the ACCSIS initiative, known as external researchers, to request certain data from the ACCSIS initiative. External researchers can request ACCSIS public use datasets.

Census Tract Level Population Characteristics

Includes, for each U.S. census tract, certain social determinates of health data elements, including race, education, poverty, urban/rural, socioeconomic status, and racial residential segregation indices.

PROSPR DataShare

Allows individuals who are not part of the PROSPR initiative to request certain data from the PROSPR 1 and PROSPR 2 initiatives. PROSPR 2 ancillary studies ( efforts that use PROSPR 2 infrastructure to collect additional data) can be proposed as well.
