Purpose

The SEER-MHOS data resource is a linkage between the National Cancer Institute’s Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results (SEER) cancer registry data and the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services’ Medicare Health Outcomes Survey (MHOS). This webinar provides an overview of the resource, identifies recent updates, such as the newly available Medicare prescription drug benefit (Part D) data, and highlights research examples that cover a variety of project approaches and designs. After this webinar, participants will have an improved understanding of the SEER-MHOS data resource, be familiar with the data request process, and understand how to navigate the current data resource website.

Intended Audience

This webinar is intended for all researchers interested in using the SEER-MHOS data resource. No experience with SEER-MHOS is necessary.
