The Improving Management of Symptoms During and Following Cancer Treatment companion RFAs (RFA-CA-17-042 and RFA-CA-17-043
) are associated with the Beau Biden Cancer Moonshot℠ Initiative
that is intended to accelerate cancer research. The purpose of these RFAs is to establish a consortium with a Coordinating Center and Research Centers to promote research on the implementation and evaluation of comprehensive symptom management systems for use in cancer care delivery. The Coordinating Center is expected to provide oversight and management of collaborative activities within the consortium. Research Centers are responsible for the deployment and evaluation of the symptom assessment and management system using implementation science approaches.
