This webinar will share results from the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) technical brief, Measuring Healthcare Organization Characteristics in Cancer Care Delivery Research (to be released Summer 2023). The technical brief was commissioned by the National Cancer Institute (NCI) to inform future multilevel cancer care delivery research by identifying:
- Gaps in evidence concerning how healthcare organizational characteristics impact cancer care and cancer-related outcomes, and
- Methodologic approaches and measurement tools needed to better understand the impact of organizational context and processes on the delivery of and outcomes associated with cancer screening, diagnosis, and treatment.
Webinar presenters will discuss the background of the report, its findings, as well as crucial next steps to address measurement and integration of organizational characteristics into multilevel research to improve clinical and delivery system interventions.
Following the presentation there will be a brief question and answer session.
