Organizational Research in Healthcare Workshop
Background
Healthcare delivery takes place in complex organizations. For the past decade, the National Cancer Institute (NCI) has had an interest in multilevel research for cancer prevention and control. The role of the organization in the delivery of cancer-related care is a current research priority. To facilitate the development and evaluation of organizational interventions, the NCI held a one-day workshop at NCI Shady Grove in Rockville, MD on October 15, 2019.
The focus of the workshop is to review the state of organization science, primary measurement, and intervention strategies in the context of cancer care delivery. The workshop includes presentations by experts leading organizational research in healthcare settings as well as breakout sessions that will be problem-focused and address issues faced by those engaging in this research.
This webinar will be archived on the HDRP Events webpage.
