Outcomes Research Branch Virtual Speaker Series

This quarterly series is sponsored by the Outcomes Research Branch of the Healthcare Delivery Research Program within the Division of Cancer Control and Population Sciences.

It addresses contemporary challenges in cancer outcomes research, including knowledge generation, translation into practice, and conceptual, methodologic and technologic developments. Speakers are leading health outcomes researchers, and reflect the range of disciplines needed to evaluate and improve cancer-related care delivery, and ultimately, individual and population health. This series aims to disseminate new information relevant to cancer outcomes research. By bringing together investigators, clinicians, policy makers and other stakeholders, our goal is to provide a platform that helps accelerate improvements in the effectiveness, quality, patient-centeredness and value of cancer care. Our format allows participants to attend presentations either onsite at NCI or remotely by webinar. Each session concludes with a Q & A session for attendees to engage in dialogue through web-chat or via phone.
