Kate McNeill

Kate McNeill, MA, is a Social and Behavioral Science Administrator in the Office of the Associate Director of the Healthcare Delivery Research Program (HDRP). Kate’s roles in HDRP include providing overall support to the Program and strategic planning and management related to grant processes and scientific portfolios.

Kate returns to NCI after serving for several years as a Project Coordinator of the Creative Communications Team for a non-profit organization in Chiang Mai, Thailand. Prior to this, Kate worked in NIH’s Division of Program Coordination, Planning, and Strategic Initiatives, Office of Behavioral and Social Sciences Research (OBSSR), where she was responsible for overseeing the budget and other critical operations. Before working at OBSSR, Kate served as a key player in several NCI Division of Cancer Control and Population Sciences offices, including the Office of the Director, Behavioral Research Program, and Healthcare Delivery Research Program. Kate was also a Health Communications Fellow in NCI’s Office of Science Planning and Assessment.

Kate received her MA in Professional Communications and a BA in Sociology from East Tennessee State University.
