Number of Cancer Cases with Prescription Drugs on the Part D Event Files

The prescription drug tables were generated for all cancer patients appearing in the SEER-Medicare data who were enrolled in Medicare Part D at any point from 2007 – 2019 according to the MBSF file. The data files present the total number of patients with specific prescription brand drug name as affiliated with a NDC code in the SEER-Medicare Part D data. The tables present prescription brand drug name for all patients and are then broken out by cancer site to include NDC codes for patients diagnosed with breast, colorectal, lung, and prostate cancer.
